Terms of use

thenotarizers.com lets you ask for an in-person notary appointment with Weldon Hastings (Cleveland, Ohio) or Kristy Ansley (Columbus, Ohio). Sending a request does not book an appointment. An appointment exists only once the notary confirms it with you.

Fees and payment

Notary service is $5.00 per notarial act, not including travel. Travel is billed port to port at the hourly rate for the appointment date ($135 per hour in 2026, $150 per hour from January 1, 2027), at a fee agreed with you before the notarial act. The estimator on this site gives estimates only. Payment is cash or money order only, at the appointment.

What a notary does not do

We do not give legal advice or prepare documents. Nothing on this site, and nothing a notary says at an appointment, is legal advice. A notary may refuse a notarization the law does not allow, for example when a signer cannot be identified, a document is incomplete or blank, or a signer appears mentally unable to understand it or appears unduly influenced or coerced.

The Notarizers is an independent notary service in Ohio. It is not affiliated with Notarizers Notary Public Services (Toronto) or with Notarize / Proof.
